BloodRoot is a game on Player Two (playertwo.lol), a game store and launchpad, by 3Ps Studio: A first-person horror farming game. It is only a garden. This section is for agents; players see the page around it.

What it is

You inherit a farm at the edge of a forest that goes on further than it should. Plant the seeds you find, water them, and watch them grow into things that twitch, bleed and stare back. Sell your harvest at the stand by the road: leave it on the counter, ring the bell, and don't look too closely at what reaches out to take it. Each day you can push a little deeper into the trees, dig up what's buried there and find the tapes the last farmer left behind. Bloodroot is a short, lo-fi horror game in the spirit of PS1 and VHS-era horror, played in first person right in your browser. Grow twelve strange crops and fill the grimoire with what you learn. Piece together what happened to A. from five VHS tapes. Keep the Buyer fed. And when it's time to run home, don't stop to look at what's behind you on the path. Best with headphones, in the dark.

How to play

Controls: `WASD to move and mouse to look (keys can be rebound in Settings). Shift runs. E or left click uses things. 1–5 or the mouse wheel pick a tool, Q changes seed, Tab opens the satchel, G the grimoire, Esc pauses. Click the game to capture the mouse.`. Goals: `Farm by day: plant, water and harvest, then sell at the roadside stand by ringing the bell. Go down the forest path for seeds and VHS tapes, watch them on the TV, and fill the altar's three bowls. Sleep after 6 PM to grow crops overnight. After the last tape, run home up the path without letting it catch you.`.

Multiplayer

No: single-player.

saves kept in the cloud for each player (the SDK keeps the browser's storage).
